本全國性協會於民國100年3月1日在台中市成立，原名為「台灣賞識教育協會」，主旨在促進親師合作，賞識孩子的多元能力。推動過程中，協會深感為青少年拓展舞台的重要性，以創造他們被賞識的機會，故於民國108年，經由理監事會議通過，正式更名為「台灣永續創新行動教育協會」，大力倡議與永續相關的創新行動力專案，培養青少年成為兼具人際、科技、設計與國際的四季永續行動家。

The national association was established on March 1, 2011, in Taichung City, originally named the 'Taiwan Appreciation Education Society.' Its main purpose is to promote cooperation between parents and teachers in appreciating the multiple talents of young people. Through this process, we have come to realize the importance of expanding the stage for young people and creating opportunities for them to be appreciated. Therefore, in 2008, the board of directors approved the association's name change to the 'Taiwan Institute of Innoactive Education'. The institute vigorously advocates innovative action programs related to sustainability and cultivates youth to become sustainable activists with interpersonal, technological, design, and international skills.
